Upper Deck Reveals Seventh SPx Baseball Mystery Card

Upper Deck has revealed that the seventh player in their SPx Mystery Rookie Redemption program will be Boston Red Sox pitcher Daisuke Matsuzaka (card #128). Upper Deck is currently working on securing an autograph deal with the pitcher. If an agreement can not reached before production begins, each redemption card will be replaced with a rookie triple jersey memorabilia card featuring the star pitcher.

2007 SPX Baseball is available now at hobby stores. To date, the company has announced, in order, Tim Lincecum, Phillip Hughes, Mark Reynolds, Homer Bailey, Kevin Slowey and Ryan Braun as mystery rookie redemptions. Upper Deck will announce a new rookie redemption player each week until all eight players have been revealed.
