While Series 1 has just arrived, the second series of 2009 Upper Deck baseball cards already is scheduled for a May release.

What does it have in store?

Here are a few highlights from the checklist …


A 50-card 1977 O-Pee-Chee insert set.

Four cards using the 1989 Upper Deck design — Ken Griffey Jr., Randy Johnson, Ronald Reagan and George H. W. Bush.
A Derek Jeter autographed buyback 1993 Rookie Card.



And a 12-card Goodwin Champions Preview set, which teases an upcoming standalone multi-sport product set for release later this year. It, presumably, will carry the same design as the 1888 tobacco set of the same name — a card from that set is shown above.
